Their apparent silence notwithstanding, we have but 7+ months to save ourselves from the MAGA- Heritage Foundation’s 2025 Project that would subject us to both a fatal weakening of American civic institutions and also a presidency eager and able to consolidate power, wherein the rule of law would be subjugated to an individual.
While a minor point, in your first sentence I presume you meant John Kelly, who replaced Reince Priebus as White House chief-of-staff, and who also was a general.
