Bonnie,

Trump maligned his security advisors and demeaned and maligned his generals. He had 20 some turnovers of secretaries of state, senior advisors and military generals and admirals who were distinguished battle tested officers resigned and retired early because in their words 'they could not take it any longer.' They have written tell all books, given public interviews, and given extensive interviews in which they have told all that they are able without violating security oaths (which stay with them after retirement by the way). They have received death threats from the off the rails MAGA. I believe they deserve to live as civilians and not be dragged before any public group to further risk their lives. They have told all - but the American public has not become self-educated enough to 'read.' This is just a superficial list of what these particular generals have written or given access to writers/journalists. Given that their personal lives have been destroyed by a cult leader who has told his minions to hunt and kill these generals, why would you say this sounds like an effective plan? I understand if you may not be aware of these publications or the death threats. As citizens, these officers, who have fought bravely for our freedom and the protection of our democracy, do not have funding for security. They live just the way we do.
