Seems to me that the 10" Highly Classified binder of Russian misinformation campaigns along with info on our agents in the field, etc., has been languishing while other cases were being made. Having had a Top Secret Security Clearance in my Army yrs, we were not allowed to read anything above our classification. If it were my case, I'd give trump & Meadows a few days to come clean as to the whereabouts of said binder. It's too damned important! If they don't tell us where it made off to or to bring it back, everyone involved should be arrested and held in a blacksite until they are ready to convey it. History tells us others have spent time in prison for far less offenses than this one. Btw, Jared Kushner who should NEVER been given a Security Clearance should be on the list too. I yield back my time. Carry on.

Bill, Indeed, It is hugely important. This is Russia, with agents in the field in Russia and with Russia possibly knowing the names of the agents? They would all have to be called back in or their lives would be worth zero. They probably have all been called back in because they’ve been outed. There is no other way to look at it. So it’s damaged our intelligence for how long? It takes years and decades to establish relationships so folks on the other side of the agents, who work with them in Russia are in danger as well. Bill, have you seen ‘Unfit, 2020’?

Trump is described by psychologists and psychiatrists as a malignant narcissist, and he simply has no concern at all for agents or anyone else. And he is unfit.

Great comments to this astute rendition of what is going on. I'm grateful for the intelligence shown here. My hero Dr. David Hawkins, a premier psychiatrist in his day, warned us that the greatest danger in the world is the rise to power of the Trump type persona- think Jim Jones. Dr. Hawkins describes this is his book Truth versus Falsehood as:

a malignant (hateful harmer) messianic (he thinks he is the Christ while he is America's anti-Christ), narcissistic (you all get that one- spewer of toxicity and self sabotaging liar who tells truth in a joking throw off way) despot, where despotism is seen as the exercise of absolute power, especially in a cruel and oppressive way.

Psychologist and psychiatrist call him a ‘malignant narcissist’ that he is a sadist. It is strange to watch him in documentaries where he says “I am the chosen one.”

Bill, given your expertise, why aren’t they already being held?

Expand full comment

I think they have to consider that this could seem like overkill. To me, it's a hot button issue, especially with the importance of the 2024 election. Maybe there's a shadow investigation in progress already, and if so they could be crossing t's and dotting i's. With trump involved, they know they have to be careful. That said, if this was in any of several other countries, demands would be made with no taking no for an answer. Kushner is the weak link, maybe Meadows too. I'll be paying close attention. Tks.

To your point about a shadow investigation, let’s remember that we were unaware about the Florida grand jury till indictments were handed down.

I have just done some research to refresh my memory regarding Meadows. I'd forgotten about him using a phony residential address so he could register to vote in North Carolina. He's shady from small things to huge ones, it seems.

Why do you think Kushner is a weak link? The odious little dweeb is totally out of the news. Idk if he even makes appearances on OnanismTV. Keeping a very low profile and Iskankas kids can’t get play dates, I hear.

They definitely need to lean on Kushner and Meadows.

Bill, am I seeing this correctly? A 10 inch binder? That’s a lot.

Expand full comment

You hadn’t heard about this one? At one point I heard it was loose papers in a Whole Foods bag. Maybe the binder has disappeared so the lying Meadows lawyer had another way out of it with his “Meadows didn’t take the binder homeL declaration.

It’s the unredacted version, so it would have info on agents in the field. It would clearly show Putin where he did it right and where wrong, for next time.

I tried to excuse Galrands delay on charges for a long time. I can’t any more.

I did hear about the Whole Foods bag in Cassidy‘s testimony, but it was only last night that I knew about a Russia file with agents’ names.

If you can find the interview on MSNBC from a couple of days ago with Peter Strzok, on Lawrence O'Donnell's show (with a sub in for him), you'll get a really good picture of this. He's suggesting that it's such a big file that "binder" is entirely the wrong word to use.

Re: the mysterious missing binder, if I remember correctly there was a story circulating about Mark Meadows burning papers in his fireplace after having left the White House for the last time. Any truth to this story or its connection to the missing binder?!

Expand full comment

Cheryl, if I am not mistaken, Meadows was known to have been burning papers in a fireplace inside the WH, not at his residence. Cassidy Hutchison had testified about it to the J6 committee.

Totally agree. Those papers are raw intelligence that probably cost the lives of US and Allied intel assets. I'm sure that Tsar Vladimir has a copy. This is treason!!!

It leaves me breathless to read and take in Joyce's summary of tfg's pending trials - and he unperturbedly goes on to hold rallies and gives hateful speeches spiked with eternal lies and fascist rhetoric. Let’s all keep in mind that we will have to beat tRump at the ballot box. This holds true whether or not he is convicted in these cases before the election. If he loses the election he’s toast. If he wins, most cases will be dismissed and the rest won’t matter.

Let’s get to work!

Expand full comment

Win or lose is not relevant to him. He plans to take power plain and simple and bring the militia into the streets to shoot first and ask later with the help of his followers and Mike Johnson. And he is continuing his push to delay all his cases. The red flags have never been more real than the present.

All of tRump's delaying tactics simply disappear if he loses the 2024 election, assuming he's the GOP nominee. There will be nothing stopping prosecution on the 91 aggregate counts - or, 89, if Fischer wins his appeal and the SCOTUS decision is broad enough to cause SC Smith to drop two charges of obstruction - and justice at long last will take its course.

There is no court in the land, including SCOTUS, that will uphold his immunity claims, full stop.

This is what keeps me up at night; he is quite literally fighting for his life. He is like a cornered animal. He knows he must win in 2024 or he will lose “everything”. I don’t see any possible way we will get through the election cycle next year without violence.

A jury trial needs only one juror to blow the whole thing to hell. This is the reason Smith has been adamant about gagging that fat f*ck. The method to Trump's madness is to cause a mistrial.

Thank you, Joyce, these cases seem to get more convoluted all the time. I sincerely hope that at least one of the Federal cases reaches a decision before summer. It is very important that Trump be at least convicted prior to the Republican Convention. I know he will appeal, he always does, then he appeals the appeal. But it will look even worse if the stupid Republicans to vote to put a convicted felon, even one awaiting appeal as their candidate for the highest government position in the Country. That will surely be the beginning of the end for the GOP. It will also make the United States the laughing stock of the entire world if he is elected.

It’s quite incredible that we are still talking about a kind of presidential immunity. In the name itself it is clear that this immunity is linked to the presidential status. You are president you enjoy immunity, which is not a “blanc-seing”, carte blanche, to do everything you want anyway. You are not anymore president your previous immunity is gone down the drain. It’s the same with a diplomatic immunity. You are diplomat you benefit from a few privileges and advantages. You are not anymore part of the diplomatic corps and you kiss bye bye to those. Basta via. Von trump is out of the presidential office therefore NO lifelong immunity! Lock him up!
