Joyce! I read your EVERY newsletter! It is one of the great treats I look forward to several mornings a week. But to read you on the subject of Trump's deposition in MY case on Wednesday.......SPELLBINDING!

“No word on costumes being worn”...needed that levity tonight. I would not recommend trick or treating with this crowd. 🧙‍♀️👻🕸🕷🎃💀

Trump needs no costume. He wears his pig suit 24/7. Apologies to all four-legged swine.

When I read that line I couldn't help but laugh out loud and envision the various costumes tfg is probably considering, i.e., Superman or Batman. 🤣

Thank you, Joyce, for keeping us informed! I am a night owl, in case you had not noticed! 😀

Good evening JV from the West Coast. Hope you are feeling better. That’s pretty spotty what FPOTUS is trying to pull off and away from Latitia James. My guess is things will go her way. She’s pretty fired up as I guess we all are. Thanks again for helping us get through this next week with some idea of what’s on the horizon.

Thank you for the dose of clarity in all this.

Mahalo for all your excellent analysis. Perfect reading before bed.

Since DOJ is defending trump (I have no words for how wrong and improper that is, both legally and morally.) how much of a problem is DOJ’s direct conflict of interest in a potential criminal prosecution and saying he did no wrong in the defamation? Have they obtained the necessary waivers? Isn’t this really something that cannot be waived or fixed by walling off areas of the office?

Doesn’t Garland realize everything he does as an institutionalist will be undone when the republicans come roaring back in?

Oh the unmentionable. I’m hoping it doesn’t come to that. We must 🏆 more seats in November. And I’m so tired of Manchin and Simeon getting away with their nonsense and holding our good intentions hostage.

Thank you Joyce for helping us understand. I have read all the comments and listened to everything on MSNBC. I just have one question that remains. Why is Garland not issuing an indictment after what was presented at the J6 9th hearing on Thurs? All your colleagues on Twitter are saying he has to now. Why not right now?

He’s being thorough. He is calculating and is doing everything to make it happen. Trust is important here. When I listen to him and watch him soeak I know truly that he is with us every step of the way❤️

He is an uncoachable witness. I have had this a time or too, and it is miserable to defend a deposition with this kind of witness.

We have seen time after time tfg refuses to take the advice of his counsel. I am looking forward to hearing about what happens at his deposition. Will he further defame Ms. Carroll?

Someone needs to wash his mouth out with soap.

My money is on tfg further defaming Ms. Carroll.

Since there is no automatic ability to designate all or any part of a deposition as "confidential," my question, if you happen to know, is whether there is an already existing protective order in the Carroll case allowing Trump to make such designations, or, as I would assume to be the case, will he have to move for that relief and justify it on a question-by-question basis?

I wonder if the fact that there are 2 Kaplans in the trial of trump by E. Jean Carroll will evoke any more Jewish outrage by trump? Maybe it will be used in subtle ways to provide a "win" for Ms. Carroll, which would be welcomed by many.

How do you find the time to do everything? Please let me know.......

Thank you so much Attorney Vance for this valuable information.

Who were the players in the sabotage of our governments Cyber Security Department in 2015 and leading up to the 2016 Election ? This act of treason left that department with the less experienced hackers needed to stop Russian and any American hackers choosing to make Donald the first fraudulent, illegally elected President. Russia and American actors can not get away with is act of treason. If Donald's Presidency is tossed out, then the Department of Justice will not be representing an individual who was an illegal employee.

A great day for women who have been assaulted, or raped by the Donald. Removing the stature of limitation is fair and just.

I thought that murder was already the same, yet, I hear that the lady that lied which caused a white mob August 1955 in Money Mississippi, to murder 14 year-old Emmett Louis Till is still not being held accountable. Yes, in her 90's, and? If there is not stature of limitations on murder, and the warrant is still active, why hasn't she been brought in for prosecution? We have to make a statement.

Donald should not get away with cheating our voting system to become a President, Donald should not get away with assault or rape. Just like any person that murders should not get away with ending a life because of a lie.

It is public knowledge that rich racist groups pledged to go into politics. Well, here they are.

These sorts of abnormal people like Trump, manipulate conscience as though it were a weakness in the general population that makes them act within the apparent superstition of “right and wrong.” Conscientious people can be manipulated by their adherence to "superstition." Law to the normal society is codified conscience. It is to be similarly manipulated as a weapon by the immoral types. I wonder if in the Carroll case, Trump will claim that the recent changes in the NY State law represent bill of attainder and ex post facto claims as an attack against him personally.

(Revised for clarity)

No doubt.

Silly shell game. Trump is inviting folks to search the places from which he has removed incriminating documents. " No thanks, we're busy right now".
