You must be one heck of a teacher. I feel like I’m in a law school class I can understand. When I taught kindergarten we used to sing, we are going on a bear hunt. Next line was, We are going to catch a big one. We are in the forest, crossing the peanut butter river, Joyce has the flashlight and the crackers guiding us through. Thank you Joyce, in your special way you are helping save our country

Joyce, thanks so much for your insights and ramifications around Judge Cannon's background as related to her rulings last week and over this past weekend. Recusal considerations are especially interesting. Hopefully honor and justice prevail.

Thank you Joyce. Look forward to your email and your information on Twitter. With so much going on do you think if we increase the Senate seats that it would be wise to start talking about increasing the Supreme Court. Because things are not going to change if it stays as it is now. Just a thought so if things with Trump end up in front of the the court it would be fair. Thank you.

Thank goodness this is your wheelhouse and you are so capable in laying these matters out thoroughly. Reading your analysis is a double pleasure. I understand the content but didn’t have to slog through it all on my own. I often wonder if that is why Americans despair when legal matters arise, there are so few people who can explain them without the jargon becoming overwhelming. But then we also forget that we are the ones who said ‘There aught to be a law’. Thank you.

With the variety of possible charges against tfg, I just hope DOJ can just make ONE of them to stick.

My comments last week about Judge Cannon came from the mistrust of Trumpers. I have no proof that any Judge is a Trumper and pray that Judge Cannon is just and upright.

Joyce after watching the explosive documentary on Hulu I am now aware that some billionaires, and the very rich live in a different world. Les Wexner is a name I never heard of, yet, he financed Jeffrey Epstein.

After Epstein was murdered his 700+ secret records which included recordings of all who visited, yes, even the bathroom are now in Russia.

Epstein according to the investigative journalist was blackmailing and selling tapes.

Watch the documentary on Hulu, "Victoria's Secrets Angels & Demons.

It seems that the very rich can get away with crimes.

The recordings, according to the investigation, John Mark Dugan, excaped to Russia with all the tapes.

Now, does Trump have any of those tapes of politicians? Did he purchase any from Epstein? Is this what Trump has on some Republicans? Democrats? The rich? Is this where part of his money is coming from? Is he blackmailing?

Watch it before it is removed.

Thank you for this explanation Joyce.

I'm so tired of waiting for Donald to be arrested and charged with crimes because there are so many to choose from. Every day that he isn't an indicted person means this country is in even more danger of becoming a fascist state. He keeps threatening people and entities on his own social media and has sent out his minions to do the same thing. See Lindsey Graham for example.

Both of them are using the legal system to evade prosecution.

This is again affecting my mental state. I'm not doing well emotionally at all. I have a sick feeling in my stomach that none of the higher ups, including Donald, will ever be in handcuffs because Garland and the rest of the DOJ waited too long to really investigate this. Also, because elected republicans who know better are now screwing over Fulton County DA Fani Willis with their own court filings.

Rough waters -- grateful for Merrick Garland's steering and for your analysis.

I’d like to believe that Judge Cannon won’t be the type of ideologue that Donald Trump pledged to appoint and Mitch McConnell rammed through the Senate on party-line votes. But once the Senate abandoned the filibuster, there’s no requirement that federal judges be broadly respected. To paraphrase Tommy Tuberville, there seem now to be five branches of government: the House; the Senate; the Executive; the Democratic judiciary; and the Republican judiciary.
