I've followed your discussions on MSNBC and on Twitter and along with Neal Katyal and Glen Kirschner, you've given me so much clarity about the legal /constitutional issues facing us now. Your informed optimism keeps me going & gives me hope. Thank you.
Hi, Joyce, it's Teri Kanefield from Twitter. I subscribed to your news letter and I followed you on Counter Social. Under the circumstances, I'm branching out from Twitter.
And Thank You too! Your newsletter is a bridge to better understanding of the oftentimes confusing legal events surrounding our government and country.
Forget up-subscribing, the real term is value-added! You add value with your common sense breakdown of complex legal issues that are out of reach of most people’s scope of knowledge. It’s fair, it’s measured and it’s always insightful. Thank y-o-u!
okay, that wasn't really what I wanted to say. I have NOT felt cheated about paying an annual membership to your Civil Discourse updates, which are chock full of impactful news in the legal realm, of which you reign supremely. I hope many more people come to their collective senses and subscribe as paying members sooner rather than later. Btw, am I still the only male here? If so, men, you need this, too. It isn't a female legal briefing Joyce engages in; it is something I share on my FB page to a lot of my friends, male & female. So, guys, get on board. Thanks, Joyce!
Yes, but your former comment gave me a chuckle. I just joined after listening to Joyce for years on MSNBC. Though I subscribe to other newsletters, I find each person gives their own particular specialty, with Joyce, it's the legal aspect, with Heather-Cox Richardson, it's the historical aspect that I find so brilliant, with Ruth Ben-Ghiat, it's the perspective on authoritarianism, on which she is an expert, and with Timothy Snyder, it's his brilliant Eastern Europe historical perspective and expertise on Ukraine.
Hi Joyce! Thank you for all you do. Love your newsletter and listening to you and Preet every week. Will be working the polls on Tuesday and channeling your positive energy!
Thank you, Joyce. Your newsletters have been so informative and educational. I feel this is a caring community here and I draw comfort and inspiration from it (from boondocks in Montana). Also, I love the chickens so much. I had a pet rooster, Tweeters, for a few years a long time ago when I was in high-school. I raised him on the back porch with the dogs when he was a tiny chick and he imprinted on me. He would run inside the house with the dogs when the door would be opened and my mom would yell, 'get that rooster out of the house'. I have a photo of him running across a bed. He would sit on my back while I'd lay on the grass and read during the hot summer days. He did at some point figure out that he was a rooster and not a dog, but we were still the best of friends. Thank you, again!
It's so helpful to get information from someone trustworthy, kind and smart.
We need that now more than ever. Thanks for all you do - and for sharing the great photos of your chicks.
Glad to be a part of your revolution, Joyce!!!
