I totally agree! Thank goodness for Rossmann, who is a German billionaire that owns the second largest chain of drugstores in Germany. He has said his company will not be buying Teslas anymore because Elon Musk is supporting Trump. Except for Hungary and Russia, I think no one in Europe wants to see a Trump presidency either. Germans have expressed nothing but support where I live, for our work as Democrats Abroad and have promised to extend the news to the Americans they know on how to vote from abroad. Thanks to Prof. Vance's suggestion, my group in Democrats Abroad started a book club on Project 2025. After only reading and discussing 10 of the 30 chapters, I have a good sense of how much implementing their suggestions would turn the USA into a third world country. They would get rid of early childhood education for all but the wealthy, and that might not work out either. Child care is dubious too, because women are supposed to be kept in the home breeding and bringing up children. Public education as an institution might be destroyed since it will be unfunded from the federal government. There will be a lot of violence under this administration, and the USA will be the most unsafe it has been since nuclear weapons were invented. Not just because Trump would be the person with his finger on the button, but also because the Central Intelligence Agencies will put everything on hold for 60 days while they have a massive turnover of everyone working there so they can punish people who have done their jobs, and replace everyone who knows what they are doing with people whose only qualification is they will do whatever they are told and will not think for themselves. Not only will they replace them, but the idea is to lessen clearance procedures and to rotate people constantly, that is going to invite all of the spies of the world to descend on us and bad leaders can start all sorts of trouble in the world, we won't know about it. It gives them privilege to do all anything they want without our gathering any intel on them. Ukraine is toast. This document spells out us cutting lose our ties with the EU. That document is just filled with lies whining about Biden and Europe. China is the biggest enemy according to them, but they will not consider continuing alliances made in the region. Under a Trump administration we are going this alone. I also want to point out that Rick Dearborn, in the part called The White House Office talks about the president signing documents or it being signed by autopen. Since it seems that Dearborn is writing his own job description as Chief of Staff, and Trump has said he has all of the documents to institute this new government already drafted just waiting for his signature on Day 1, I imagine many, particularly the COS will be using the autopen to get it done. That means Trump won't even know everything he is signing, and Kevin Roberts has set up a situation where Trump does not really even need to be conscious and willing to get things done in this document. It does remind me of Hitler coming to power and convincing the German Parliament to give him unbridled power in certain cases which he immediately claimed. That was it for them and governance. The fact that more people are not alarmed is because the press and I specifically point out the NYT which really ran with Biden is old every day and that makes him unfit, and covered nothing about Trump. Now the story exists beyond them and no one I know wants to hear what they have to say anymore, or about their pathetic little polls. I am counting on the party of Hope, Joy and Freedom to lead us into the future.

Thank you for your summary of the disastrous Project 2025 and for calling out the MSM, particularly the New York Times. Why did the Times focus on Biden’s age when Trump has serious mental and physical problems and is almost as old as Biden? It’s a sad day in America when tyrants are excused and patriots are trashed. What’s wrong with this picture ?

Expand full comment

Age was never the real issue. The fact that Biden has gone after the billionaires and millionaires with his IRS and FTC is the issue. Lena Khan is scaring them, and the IRS is getting some serious change from these people, though it is a drop in the bucket of what they owe. I personally think we should have much more simplified taxes that are automatically filed for us like some countries do, and we only say something if we disagree. I think really wealthy people should pay a much higher share of their income in taxes (70%) then we can all cheer as Elon Musk gets a big pay raise because that can help fund schools and daycare like it should instead of toys like Twitter and his space ships. Leave the space program to NASA. Also, it will make a lot of these billionaires less eager to live in the USA and mess with our government. Let them go live in a tax haven country, and mess with the government there. Of course they may have to do like the wealthy in the old days and hire private armies to protect them in their tax exempt havens, because the masses may not be so nice. Can see them turning like Haiti or South Sudan. So, the fact that Trump's age has never been mentioned once as a negative and while he is occasionally doddering he has been portrayed by our joke of a MSM as a strong bold man, if age were the matter it would have been brought up too. He will be one year older than Biden is now at the end of his second term, if he gets one, and he allows it to be his second term and does not extend it into perpetuity.

Fantastic work Linda: An article I read outlined some preparations NATO/Western Europe are taking now,....if Heritage/Trump win, Great Britian does have enough warheads to provide all of NATO with protection. France, now independent is being urged to pool their defensive weapons.

Legal experts are coming forward to counter the planted election deniers. Does the 900 page document say anything about Heritage using the far right militas on day one?

President Biden, I would hope is beefing up counter measures to protect the nation and its citizens. Calling in counter insergency experts... military leaders loyal to the constitution...extremist informants and he could use what the supreme court powers given Trump against the Magats.

It am not done with the military section yet, at least the DOD part, and I have only read about 1/3 of it, so I cannot say. However, I have read other articles about the militias getting ready and concern that they will be doing voter intimidation at the polls. I started writing in January that I hoped he was placing our nukes with trusted allies just in case. That would not be something I would be privy to, but I am sure the DOD and the Intellegence communities have many thoughts on Trump and a lot of it is not pro! Each department can be using the document P2025 to figure out what is in store and how they might protect against it. Still, if implemented in part or in greater part, our country will not be a functioning first world nation. Even Hitler and Mussolini did not get rid of public education even though they destroyed their countries. Revolving the entire environmental and educational systems around End of Days beliefs of Christian Nationalists and The New Apostolic Reformation means you don't care about either. So, you don't really need to educate children because they aren't going to be on this earth for long, and the same with the environment, it is not a problem in Heaven or whatever the end result is for true believers in their minds. Read what Andra Watkins has to say comparing the two groups who have different End of Days beliefs. With NAR their beliefs require them to force their values and behaviors on everyone in our country and the world, so Christ will return to earth and take them with him, once everyone is "Godly." It is a very oppressive, racist, sexist, homophobic view of 'Godly." https://project2025istheocracy.substack.com/p/what-is-the-new-apostolic-reformation

Stephanie Miller reported today that the Seventh-day Adventists have pulled their support for MAGA. All these Christofacist religions need to read Matthew 7: 21-23 where the Lord simply says to the false prophets and leaders...."I never knew you."

They are the "fruitless trees to be cut down and burned."

The book of Revelation has been used to create fear and anxiety for centuries.

It also serves as a warning of what can and will be if the planet completly falls under Satanic domination.

Trump is difficult to handle, so they are banking on a lot. @ David Piper. 80% of MAGA are "takers" not "makers" and have been targeted for a long time by the same folks that wrote Heritage 2025. They slit their own throats by supporting cuts and "sunsetting" of all benefits.

E.G. as president, Trump tried and failed to cut benefits drastically. Some Republicans wanted to replace the entire benefits system. See. Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, Trump, House Republican Cuts to SSI Would Harm Children With Disabilities, Sept. 18, 2017, Kathleen Romig and Guillermo Herrera. https://www.cbpp.org/research/social-security/trump-house-republican-cuts-to-ssi-would-harm-children-with-disabilities

“The Trump proposal would cut SSI by more than $8 billion over the next decade, shrinking benefits for roughly a quarter of a million children with disabilities by between 38 and 66 percent. It would also increase SSI’s administrative costs and improper payments”.

The Republican study group planned to cut all SSI Childs benefits and sent a proposal to the Congressional Budget Office. CBO Eliminate Supplemental Security Income Benefits for Disabled Children. https://www.cbo.gov/budget-options/54742 (2018)

Background

The Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program provides cash assistance to people who are disabled, aged, or both and who have low income and few assets. In 2018, 15 percent of SSI recipients, or 1.2 million people, are projected to be disabled children under age 18, receiving an average monthly benefit of $686. To receive benefits, those children must have marked, severe functional limitations and usually must live in a household with low income and few assets.

Option

This option would eliminate SSI benefits for disabled children.

Not "playbook" but script. the convicted felon trump is a "reality tv" actor. He hasn't the interest or the ability to plan or participate in the creation of a plan, but he will play the part in front of the camera or a crowd as long as he can.

EXCELLENT OBSERVATION. I can see it now…. “Sir, we took all your brilliant thoughts and packaged them for you. Those ideas are the best the world has ever seen. Would you do us the honour of sharing them”?

And there’s this: post from Project 2025 in anything close to interpretive, and Meta, with help from a fact checkers from Dispatch and The Heritage Foundation, will delete your post with “false information” spread across where it used to live. Be sure to quote directly from the text; it’s scary enough all by itself. Avoid the temptation to put what you read into short phrases that you know capture the spirit of the thing. Meta, Dispatch, The Heritage Foundation are pretending that the left’s reposts are misguided, that there’s no there there to see. I noticed that too. Whenever I mention Project 2025 I use exact quotes so they cannot say I’m spreading disinformation.

For example the section on abortion says “the Dobbs decision is just the beginning” and also says that HIPAA applies to fetuses.

HIPAA applies to fetuses? I have not read that section of the Project, but the very idea that a fetus needs privacy is jaw-dropping. I guess that with those people, the womb is no longer a private place…

Hi Joyce,

I’ve noticed in the last 24 hours Stephen Miller and Trump have both invoked the word “communist” in their rhetoric. I haven’t noticed it before. Someone needs to counter with: “Well, Trump has gone on record several times supporting Putin. He’s a Communist.” Why don’t people call them on his and his surrogate’s BS?

In it with you,

Dave

Dawn’s Early Light isn’t coming out until after the election. This doesn’t mean they are not going to proceed with their plan. They are even aware that this plan might even lose Republican votes. don continues to lie that he knows nothing even when there are now pictures of him on a private jet with proponent of Project 2025. It is imperative that we don’t sit back but continue to be all in for the next ninety days. We can do this. Together we will save Democracy!

I wonder why the federal government allows Trump to host all these foreign leaders at his Florida Mar-a-lago?

Great question. I think it’s very suspicious too.

Thank you for this column. No, Project 2025 is not going away, evien if Trump is defeated in November. It will always be lurking in the background, its sponsors ever ready to snatch any opportunity to spring their trap on an unsuspecting public. Initially confused by their willingness to make their plans so public, I have concluded that these people are so blinded by their own hubris that they are actually proud of this screed. We need to keep this plan in public view, keep it in public discourse, and to keep shoving it down their throats.

On a side note concerning the "Over one hundred respected organizations from across the conservative movement" one might ask respected by whom? And, unless I've misread the list of suspects they published, I noted the absence of the Hoover Institution from among its perpetrators. Hoover is almost always wrong, but I don't see them as malign. But maybe that's just me.

Honestly, even if it were just the things they're willing to *admit* are true, it's more than enough reason to crash that project and burn it. More business deregulation? The last thing we need.

I’m sorry, but it pisses me off that newspapers and news websites, all across America, don’t have the balls to call Trump out for the blatant liar he is!

The title of the “news” article should read:

“Donald J Trump is a Liar, a Con and a Fraud”

The article should contain a photo of the TruthSocial post Trump did - the one pictured in Joyce Vance’s post today, which begins…..

“I know nothing about Project 2025”

And, immediately after that photo should appear the photo of Trump on the plane with Roberts, and these words should appear under that photo…..

In April 2022, Trump and Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts, the front man for Project 2025, took a 45-minute private plane flight together to get to a Heritage Foundation conference where the former president was one of the speakers. Trump told the audience that the Heritage Foundation was "going to lay the groundwork and detail plans for exactly what our movement will do."

DONALD J TRUMP is a LIAR, a CON, and a FRAUD.

I suspect that the convicted felon trump may actually not be lying when he says, "I know nothing about Project 2025". He does not appear to know much of anything about anything. I don't believe he has any curiosity or interest in anything or anybody other than himself.

It appears that he found his perfect job when he became an actor for "reality tv" and that his entire political career is just another "reality" show. He doesn't write the scripts or even know what the theme is.
