I know many of us thought of the honor of our brave veteran fathers and other service members who no longer with us when we voted. As I stand proudly as a W.W.I.I veteran's daughter, I cherish the freedoms we have today and will have when our President is clearly voted into office.

I do, Cynthia. My dad was a WWII vet who fought in the Pacific Theater for 4 years. Before that, he was a victim of the Holocaust who found his way to America. He wanted to give back to the country who allowed him freedom and to thrive. My husband is a Vietnam Vet who said he learned discipline but, of course, fighting in a war you were lied to about has taken its toll on him and many others. So yes, I am grateful for both of them and everyone else who fought in 20th Century wars.

My Dad, too, was a WWII vet who fought in the Pacific theatre. He was my hero. And I thank God every day that he’s no longer here to see what’s happened to the country he fought to save.

It gives me hope reading Joyce Vance words. I truly believe this country has more responsible people, Dem. Or GOP, we have hundreds maybe thousands of our friends on the other side who have now endorsed Kamala. Especially the gen Z generation who have Taylor Swift, John Legend, J Lopez, and many more encouraging them to vote BlueπŸ’™ for Kamala Harris.
