Thank you Joyce Vance.

I do not know the answer to your question, but I do know Attorney General Fanni Willis has been courageous and resolute in how she has handled this case thus far. Whatever happens, we should support her commendable efforts.

If Trump doesn’t have to work in a Georgia chain gang, I hope at least he has to hoe the onions in 100° temperatures for a few years.

That will be the most exposure to American history he has ever had, part of the CRT( which IS American history) that he (and ALL R's) are afraid to teach our children. I hope the temp. is 110.

The notorious call should result in indictments of Trump, Meadows, and Cleta Mitchell. I would love to see one for Lindsey Graham as well.

Indeed.

As usual, a great read.

We’ve armchaired this to death. I’m hopeful that asking to “find” 11,000 and something votes and make a not so vailed threat to a secretary of state is not taken lightly.

Thank you for all the clarifications, Joyce, it's very helpful. I think DA Fani Willis may be the only person that brings Trump, as well as some of his accomplices like Giuliani, to justice. We can hope .

I certainly understand about not typing your hand and giving a heads up to the potential defendants in this case. Nevertheless, I certainly hope that the special grand jury’s report is made public. Siding with the media, the wishes of the jury for whatever reason/s, and inquiring minds, we have a right to know.

It has been more than two years since these crimes may have occurred or not. Comparatively speaking like with the failed coup attempts in Brazil, Peru, and Germany, our wheels of justice need not be nearly as slow as they are. https://www.salon.com/2023/01/22/brazil-peru-germany-and-jan-6-not-all-attempted-coups-are-the-same/

After all, justice delayed is usually justice denied.

Thanks for your link. It's distressing that our "beacon of democracy" is so unprepared for coups in contrast to other countries. We have to have to have to enact laws to identify and prosecute domestic terrorists.

Lord, give me knitting. 'Cuz I'm running out of patience.

Merci, Joyce. As usual you've summed it up well, and we are all now victims of anticipation for what "could" happen. Just a little while ago I saw a picture of trump making jest of one of his other entanglements by parading around Mar al ago sporting an old fashioned cigarette box filled with fake classified docs for sale. I was thinking, "be careful what you wish for...." Guess we'll tear off another scab on Tuesday. Crossing fingers as it were. Goodnight.

Thank you again, Joyce, for a clear message on what mat happen and what to look for. As much as I would love to hear what is in the report - and your analysis of it - if it means she waits so she can indict trump, I’m fine with waiting. As long as SOMETHING happens to hold him to account.

No kidding. Willis has had the evidence for a long time. She should be able to move quickly at this point.

Here’s hoping the chickens finally come home to roost.

A fine winter night greeting Joyce on possibilities of outcomes this week. Thanks for your thoughts. Fanni Willis has always to me come across as tried and true, the real deal. Seems a good match for truth telling in the courts. She does give me hope. Hi to your chicks. Best regards.

Just FYI -- Robert McBurney is Superior Court Judge, not Circuit Court judge. And thank you for making this situation as clear as possible.

I listened to the full season of Breakdown, the podcast done by the Atlanta Journal Constitution, to refresh my mind on this event. Highly recommend.
