I like this one best of all! Your dash of humor, Joyce, with your absolute seriousness was perfect -- what a picture of regret!

Think of the difference our country would now be in if some others had just said, ā€œ I made a mistake and I’m sorry.ā€ And let he/she who is without guilt throw the first stone. Love your sharing of your knowledge.

Evelyn, my thoughts have been nodding their heads at your proposition. I agree with every word. Thanks for saying it so succinctly and so well! (And I also like your sharing, Joyce, of the idiosyncrasies of each member of your menagerie).

I'm convinced absolutely no one has as nice of readers as I have. Lots of love to all of your for your kindness, your understanding, your innate goodness and all of the smarts that are going to get us through this era.

I do so love that photo as part of your mea culpa. You have livened my morning blur with laughter.

Thank you, Joyce, for being human, as well as brilliant and kind.

You’re in good company this morning, Joyce.

NYT just put up an editors note admitting their mistake in initially choosing a misleading headline for the Gaza hospital bombing that relied too heavily on what Hamas was claiming. As we now know, evidence seems to point of a misfire from within.

The ability to own an error is a sign of solid character and professionalism.

You’re solid as a rock!

Plus, the illustration had me howling! Hilarious!

A very different kind of error, assuming Israel was as fault was a very dangerous mistake.

Joanna Mangan's avatar

Yes, indeed! By contrast Joyce’s booboo is way, way, way less consequential, yet she still took the time to fix it. Speaks to her personal ethics.

NYT is in good companyšŸ˜‰

You are just the best. Thank you for your insights and explanations and now....corrections. Who does that? ;-)

Not the Republicans.

My husband and I live in Rome, Italy, part of the year. The photo here is worth the error! Thank you. Please make more mistakes so that we can enjoy more lovely photos while facing the eternally dysfunctional, yet eternally beautiful, eternal city (of Rome).

Tutone's avatar

You can post gorgeous photos with or without mistakes Joyce šŸ˜€

Purobi Phillips's avatar

Yes, absolutely, but let's face it, photos without mistakes may not be as spicy.

I have in mind a chart/table of all the current Trump/MAGA cases with current status and, relevant dates/ and most recent activity, that is maintained up to date. It must exist. Can anyone point me to it? 😁

Janet Reeves's avatar

I think Ari Melber has some type of chart with all of the cases.
