I guess the Orange Canklesaurus hasn't read the whole of Article II, especially Section 4, which spells out the process of impeachment for President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States.

So, no, you can't do whatever you want. There are limits. Although with a supine Congress and an acquiescent SCOTUS, who knows?

I live in MO and currently, there are only 2 Democratic Congressional Districts (out of 10) that, basically, represent St Louis and Kansas City. The Republican plan is to eliminate the Kansas City one. The other plan to change the rules for voter ballots is because ballot initiatives in MO brought Medicaid expansion, medical and recreational marijuana, stopping right to work, raising the hourly wage to $15/hour, and stopping the draconian abortion ban and returning the law back to Roe like rules. We also passed initiatives to require paid vacation and sick days and against puppy mills (very popular in MO) but the Republican legislature passed laws striking these down. A petition drive is now beginning to change the MO constitution so that the legislature can't simply overturn successful initiatives. It's always a battle, but we do win sometimes.
