So happy that your son is finding his stable ground. Our nephew has just entered rehab for the first (and hopefully only) time at the still tender age of early 30's. We hope he meets with similar success. And... I too start self-learning a new instrument, the cello, last winter. Thanks for encouragement to work with a professional. Cheers to you.
