It’s a little late, he has already made his false speech ad the media has covered to nauseam. I would to suggest that senator Warner advise who the US senate is going to stop the war, stop ICE, stop the corruption, and fight back. Rehashing what has already taken place is useless. How do we move forward?
- How can right thinking Americans, Democrat and Republican, counteract this continuing election slander of Trump?
- How can we get (impose on?) the Supreme Court to 1) adopt 25 year term limits, 2) set a maximum age of 75, and 3) adopt an ethics policy that has teeth and requires periodic reaffirmations?
Yes. As Adam Mockler pointed out, if commercial pilots are forced to retire at 65, it seems reasonable that affairs of government should also have an age limit. Ahem.
Are election lawyers in states and localities strategizing on how to get court decisions fast and furious once maga starts their dirty tricks for stealing the election? Such as deployment of troops, stopping counting, having MAGA count, no election in democratic cities in insurrection?
I'm petrified that the administration is moving toward cancelling the mid-terms (Marshall Law, maybe). What is being done to prevent this from happening?
What is our Senator's understanding of Virginia's election laws? I shake my head too at any prospect the Save Act will be enacted. Speeches and requests for money do not substitute for DNC's and candidates' failure to give us a vision of what they intended to accomplish and their means for doing so. Warner's being reminded he promised 2 terms 30 years ago. Why not mentor potential candidates instead.
We cannot let Trump get away with so much that he has already gotten away with. How to we reach those who don’t read you, who don’t read Heather Cox Richardson, who don’t listen to Andy Borowitz? How do we educate the population of this country when our government fails to see public education —and specifically civics — as a top priority? How do we turn that half of the country around?
I wish more senators and representatives remember that at least three states (WA, OR, and CO) are exclusively vote-by-mail and have been for decades, with virtually no "fraudulent" votes and strong voter turnout (by U.S. standards). WA's former head of elections, Kim Wyman, even went to work for the first Trump Administration, that's how highly she was regarded. Why don't Democratic lawmakers cite the records of those three states as compelling evidence of how effective vote-by-mail can be?
In Prince William County and Fairfax County, the paper reported that DOJ will monitor for the election. With the current state of affairs with the DOJ is this a wise or even necessary? Why are they planning this?
What can be done further to prevent the seeds of chaos being sown now from growing into something that can’t be controlled after the election? I am legitimately concerned about the peaceful transfer of power and I feel like not enough has been done.
Joyce, Sen.Warner and also Congressman Jim Hines and others are ceitically relevant and credible voices on what the current administration is trying to do. Unfortuntately their voices are not being heard where they need to be. Those watching convressiinal speeches, MSNow or even CNN are cew. The lessons of Hungary and even here are they quickly go on tours and give pubkic talks -in person in the states that are most important. Are they planning to do this? And why not. I would suggest all of their time go to this. They make sense and people need to hear this - there! You and I and your viewers know this.already. Thank you.

Joyce - I have two questions:
- How can right thinking Americans, Democrat and Republican, counteract this continuing election slander of Trump?

This. Is a very good question. I've heard it asked multiple times by multiple journalists of our political leaders. None gave a good answer.
I'm petrified that the administration is moving toward cancelling the mid-terms (Marshall Law, maybe). What is being done to prevent this from happening?
We know the issues. I want remedy.

Do the Republicans on the intelligence committee recognize the idiocy of Trump’s speech last week??

What can Congress do to counteract Trump’s control of a vast section of our media?
Can this discussion be transcribed? Please. please.
Why is Kash Patel going to Russia???

The work you do is vital.
Joyce, I have a question:
What can be done further to prevent the seeds of chaos being sown now from growing into something that can’t be controlled after the election? I am legitimately concerned about the peaceful transfer of power and I feel like not enough has been done.
