I've read all the motions and briefs in all of Trump's cases and it's remarkable how they are poorly written, consist of poorly researched issues, and contain citations to other cases that either do not apply or miss the actual results of the cited case. I guess when you don't pay your lawyers this is what you get. Eastman, an attorney, is also publicly complaining about his legal costs. I guess in his arrogance he never assumed that he'd have to hire lawyers to defend him (the same for Rudy), and that these lawyers are expensive.

Remember WH counsel Eric Herschmann telling Eastman he had better hire a "good effing criminal defense lawyer" forthwith? Turned out to be good "free" legal advice.

Eastman's latest ploy is what in the sports game is known as a "Hail Mary", a desperation throw with only a miracle catch to win the match. Not happening, as Joyce so conclusively has shown.

Remember in 1934, Hitler refreshed his lineup for the next season. SA out, Wehrmacht in. What would Trump want from these also-ran losers who failed the first time? Trump needs an SS. He screwed up his first putsch by not having a paramilitary. Let’s see how much progress the Proud Boys have made.

CA bar association notice currently at the top of Eastman’s page:

John Charles Eastman #193726

License Status: Active

CONSUMER ALERT

This attorney has been charged with a felony. The felony matter is pending in the State of Georgia, Fulton County Superior Court (Case No. 23SC188947). For more information, contact the court in the jurisdiction where the case is pending. The State Bar posts consumer alerts online when lawyers are charged in a criminal court with a felony or felonies. Anyone who believes they have been the victim of attorney misconduct is urged to file a complaint with the State Bar.

Trump needs to come with a mandatory consumer alert, especially where he’s begging for money.

I can’t wait until the judge slaps Eastman down. Apparently he will do anything he can to delay Trump’s trial including filing meritless bound to be rejected motions. And then he is so pompous that he refers to himself as “Dr. Eastman.” True, he has a doctorate, but his chosen career is in law. Lawyers are not referred to as “Doctor”. The man is insufferable!

Hard pressed to think of one person in trump's posse who isn't butt-deep in crime of one sort or another and/or sedition uber alles. The maggots are led by the insipid clown, which makes perfect sense. Hundreds of thousands of them lost their lives to Covid because they followed his lead regarding the vaccines 💉. To think that millions still support him is mind numbing. I follow your drift. It started me wondering though how did dirt get such a bad name? I love dirt, the ground that everything comes out of. And while I’m on the subject most swear words come from sex and sexual body parts. Why do we use those words in hate? They are the beginning of new life. It leads me to at least consider: do people hate the Earth and do they hate themselves? Is that why we are self-destructing? There’s no other living thing that Earth could survive without, and even thrive without except the human being.
