I'm sure I speak for many when I say "Thank you so much!" The "news" we get elsewhere is so truncated or jumbled that it is impossible to understand. Thank you Joyce for making it clear for us.

Joyce, you are like a sports broadcaster giving us blow by blow description of a medieval battle between the beautiful young woman (our country) and the fire breathing dragon. Every time the dragon smashes another wall or crosses the moat my heart sinks and I want to cry... she's so young and beautiful, leave her alone, just go away. Of course the dragon thinks this a game, he want to eat her. Thanks for reminding us she has valiant soldier protecting her.

I'm getting too fascinated. I must do whatever I can, but what would that be? VOTE. At least I don't feel totally helpless!

And please volunteer for good candidates! Even a few hours of your time is helpful. There is a first time for every volunteer, and campaign field managers will point you in the right direction. Only 60 days to go. We need all hands on deck for this one.

I was not surprised that our AG Garland was eloquent in his Motion. Tfg stole these documents from “We The People” and that can’t be overlooked or ignored. When you explain these legal motions or appeals for us, you have no idea how much we appreciate your expertise. (He) tfg has gotten away w/so much to destroy our Democacy. (He) must be stopped. Thank you so much for all you do. We are in this together. 🇺🇸

Are there penalties or consequences for judges that are grossly negligent?

What is to stop this judge Cannon from discussing this case over with Justice Thomas? If that were to happen, Justice Thomas might/probably tell her not to worry because he will strike the DOJ down when presented with the appeal, etc. That is a concern, no?

That's a stretch for a young judge, and CT doesn't hold all the power even though he is in the conservative majority. He has stood alone for tfg matters in the past, I believe.

I sure hope it doesn’t come to that.

Joyce, since a judge in NM just alerted Couy Griffin that he couldn't hold his elected office anymore because of his involvement in the insurrection, why can't we hit trump with the same offense? It was his insurrection, he was in on the planning, etc. Why?

I don’t think the battleship needs to fire all the guns. You only need to sink the enemy ship once.

I think it's apples and oranges. Different rules in different states & their legislatures vs tfg fighting this out by delaying it on the National stage, then to the Supreme Court. That's just my simplified opinion. I just play a lawyer in my own mind. 😉

Isn’t it a fine tuned calculation based on what the ex-president might try to finagle? We all know he should never hold office again.

Joyce, as usual a clear, concise explanation with a dash of your tongue in cheek humor. We can only hope that Judge Cannon reads your comments!
