Just saw this; I have to think about that one; violence is not the answer, no matter what else. Protest comes to mind; just how and under what circumstances our civic go-to leaders will have some suggestions (Joyce, Thom, and others), depending on the circumstances of DJT's specific acts/words. It won't be easy, but we all at the neighborhood level have got to be aware that action might take place at a location near you. Unity in the neighborhood probably will have something to help us all with a national crisis, which I think this is. Write your reps/senators that you object to (name your favorite gripe) which is adding to the displeasing atmosphere we do not appreciate oligarchical personalities usurping American rights to be left alone and practice our constitutional rights.
I will add my own remedy: prayer to the One who made us all and loves us all.
When tRUmp is finally out of office he needs to be charged and prosecuted for every crime that we have evidence of and that can be won in court. He’s not playing and neither should we. When sworn in he lied that he would uphold the constitution yet he’s done everything he can to break it and the laws.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has declared presidents immune for “official acts” while in office, leaving a black hole of ambiguity. Gotta overturn that decision. Add more justices to the court. The ones that aren’t shills for authoritarian rulers.
There may be a silver lining behind the Court's immunity ruling. In overturning Bob McConnell's bribery conviction for accepting gifts in return for official favors as governor of Virginia, the Court ruled that McConnells actions did not constitute "official acts." Should Trump find himself in front of the Court (again), we will see if the Court will use the "official acts" doctrine as a standard of law or as a variable to be interpreted for the benefit of its friends.
Jack Smith found a whole lot of evidence which could not be described as official. It found its way into his final report Superseding Indictment, filled to the brim with clear and meticulously researched evidence.

What seems to be consistently ignored here is that the current president holds the complete and virtually unrestricted power to grant pardons for all past federal crimes. There is a small question of whether such pardons can be granted to oneself, but that can really be avoided by trump resigning on Jan 19, 2029, and letting Vance have the last day in charge so that he can grant trump his pardon (trump will have already granted all the others).
At that point the federal government, even back in democratic hands, will be impotent to prosecute any of those pardoned by trump or Vance. Sad but true.
The states might be able to help here but the charges will have to be supported in each state and trump has tried hard to avoid doing things illegally outside of Washington DC.
The facts are that it will be very difficult to successfully prosecute trump after he leaves office. It will be up to future governments to make changes to the law and possibly the Constitution to fix this for the future. I am not usually a conspiracy theorist, but from the small amount of reading I have done, I am skeptical that he won 2024 fair and square. I also suspect Musk and Starlink had a connection.
Once again, I am not totally convinced the election was rigged, but I am very skeptical and believe it needs to be further investigated.

Part of it is due to the fact that about 40% of the electorate did not exercise their votes.
That complicates the math of cheating, etc.
So, that means EVERYONE WHO CAN must vote this time....

Organize lawyers with election expertise to challenge them in local courts. That has worked well since Trump moved back in thr oval office.

I am not pitching for shekels, but I have read and re-read Thom Hartmann's masterpiece, "The Last American President" and it is worth every nickel if you can't get it at your native library. Just to show an example: the Roy Cohn demise. He was DJT's pit bull lawyer back in the day, and at the end of the 20-year relationship, RC called DJT because he needed a place to stay, having succumbed to AIDS and had lost all his assets. Left a message asking for DT's extending him a place to stay in one of his NY hotels. Trump not only did not return the call, he did not even attend the inevitable funeral.
