Today in Chickens

32

Here’s to starting off your morning right, with video of hungry chickens. It looks like I’m raising velociraptors, not Silkie chicks. Hopefully, Butter and Scotch are appropriate names for dinosaurs. They seem to be getting along just fine with the older chickens.

You can tell from the tarps over the coop runs that we’re getting ready for any rain that Ian sends our way later this week, as it makes its way north. The chickens will be snug.

No January 6 committee hearing today. It’s canceled and no word yet on rescheduling.

And, an update from Mar-a-Lago, where the deadline for selecting a vendor to handle the document review necessary for Trump’s civil case to proceed passed without a decision being made. Reading between the lines in DOJ’s submission here, but it looks like the problem may be that Trump’s reputation for stiffing contractors has come back to bite him.

And that’s a delight. Karma.

We’re in this together,

Joyce
