NYT: "As of March 14, 2026 the U.S. is deploying approximately 2,500 Marines & the U.S. amphibious assault ship, U.S.S. Tripoli to the Middle East with reports they are in position to potential seize or raid Kharg Island once Iran's main oil export hub.
The NYT identified the 31 Marine Expeditionary Unit that is capable of seizing the Island.
The NYT did not identify the "tell" to the operation when trump said he was going to bomb Kharg Island again just for "fun" which was another misdirecting lie.

If the Republicans scrap the filibuster (and I don't really understand how that is arranged…if someone could enlighten me) won't they be in deep doo-doo if they lose the majority in November? I would think they have a big incentive to keep it.
I cannot comprehend why Republican senators are so hesitant to eliminate the filibuster. Are they afraid that Democrats will take over in 2027? What makes them think that Democrats won’t eliminate it regardless? They had better damn well do so! Republicans have indicated they are unworthy of having any input in governing whatsoever.
