There is also the People's State of the Union on Medias Touch. Adam Schiff and other Democrats will be speaking. Some of the Democrats have decided to boycott the Felon's show to the Republicans.

How great would it be if media would publish only stories when Trump told the truth -- just for a day? "In a truthful statement today, Trump said . . . "
I know they have to report his false statements and his debunked claims, and they try to point out his lies. But can you imagine if they reported only stories where Trump told the truth? Hard to imagine, isn't it?
I’d like the media to give him 5 minutes of airtime each hour to summarize his actions. The other 55 minutes, ignore him. OMG! That would piss him off. He gets too much attention and that’s what he craves. Starve the Beast!
Why is all this counter programming happening on the same night as the President’s speech and
A. Spanberger’s rebuttal? To me it makes no sense . The resistance rallies will get no mainstream or cable coverage and the resistance rebuttal is rude to the Virginia governor. These resistance events should be held on Wednesday, not Tuesday ( IMHO)
You can pick what you watch. I am going to watch the People's State of the Union and there will be plenty of coverage of Spanberger's rebuttal. She will get plenty of press.
Hope this isn't another example of Dems each wanting their own little platform, instead of figuring out how to share ONE tent, and perhaps ONE compelling core new vision. (Perhaps this is us figuring that out?)
Is that one message, No Kings? Is it, Restore Rule of Law via our Constitutionally divided powers on our 250th birthday? Is it a Revolutionary USA 2.0 that in one step fixes the gaps and shortcomings of unequal representation and power tower proclivities of the original Constitution (and our misbegotten blind faith in capitalism as a marker of merit, instead of a dangerous, civil-cidal tool)?
Is our ONLY CONCENSUS, that T & co. is a corrupt and felonious despot astride an Epstein-esque oligarchy - which has captured government controls? Not sure that's very politically foresightful; not sure that even gets one past the midterms.
I think America's resurrection as a leading nation that sane and talented people WANT to emigrate to (remembering this has always been America's secret sauce), will turn on a very unlikely condition - that American leadership buy into AOC & Mamdani's new vision for what good government is, rather than Shumer's OR the GOP's (much less MAGA's).
How about:
Cap Capitalism by a rapid return to Roosevelt levels of taxation and a linear tapering of corporate welfare (over 10 years?) - NO BILLIONAIRES, exactly as, No Kings, for exactly the same reason. If this is done it will address a thousand evils plaguing the US, from AGI-augmented and personalized control of population 'feeds', to corrupt governance by the Epstein class.
(Obviously keep a downsized, unmasked, locally & judicially bound, professional border enforcement crew on the border - with a new name and re-vetted personnel - after conviction of all the men & women doing violence in all the movies and photos. "Defund Police" was simply a stupid slogan and own goal; let's show we are capable of demonstrating balance in governance, even in the face of radical governance overreach. Radical re-action also fails to serve America - and roughly half the nation will not support it.)
