My good friend Mary Trump is someone who needs no introduction. She joins us today as our guest for the Civil Discourse series “Five Questions with . . .” where I get to ask people questions you may not see them asked in other venues. Since I’m pretty sure you’re already familiar with Mary, who wrote the book, Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World's Most Dangerous Man, I thought I’d share a few details about her that you may not be aware of for starters. First off, she is extremely plain spoken and not afraid to call them like she sees them, a remarkably refreshing trait.
Mary has a parrot named Sebastian. She also has two cats, Linden and her kitten, Cap, a gift from her daughter. And she has a Leopard Gecko named Nemo. In other words, her menagerie rivals mine, which makes her one of my favorite people to visit, along with the fact that she is incredibly well-versed in fiction. I always end up with something new to read after spending time with her.
Five Questions is a feature for paid subscribers only. The rest of my posts are available to free subscribers as well. I value having everyone here, but this is my way of thanking people who support my work financially so I can devote more time and resources to it.
