Thank you very much Joyce, about your perspective about the downsides of either Amendment 25 or impeaching Trump. I was all for Amendment 25 yesterday in what felt like a finger on the trigger moment. I agree with Joyce that JD Vance is likely even more dangerous, as he has more intact brains and competence which would go into the worst agendas. Perhaps we should settle for Trump as the Devil we know and we are learning how to navigate around him. OF COURSE, we the people continue to focus on collective massive efforts for Nov., get House and Senate for some actual guardrails to hold the next 2 and 1/2 years.
Hm, your perpective, Joyce, on how Amendment 25 might empower GOP congressmembers casts a new warning light on that idea. What a pickle we are in! Maybe we can take heart in thinking of these 4 years (actually 12 from 2016 thru 2028) as a major learning experience, an advanced course for all Americans, to learn what NEVER to let happen ever again, to learn about all the widening flaws in our federal government that have allowed such corruption to grow over 40 -50 years. Then we have marathon work to do over decades going forward. I love your hope, your ability to see light at the end of the most frightening tunnel.
By allowing Trump's behavior to stand, we have essentially given the green light to Trump's future war expeditions into Cuba and Greenland. Heaven help any of the targeted populations, plus the emotional burdens and PTSD created by this evil man and his henchmen.
